Bassem Yakhour (born August 16, 1971 in Latakia, Syria) is a multifaceted artist: actor, writer, and director. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1993 and began his artistic career that year. He is known for programs such as Spotlight, which he co-wrote and acted in, as well as directing plays and television productions. Combining comedy and historical drama, he has achieved a prominent presence in the Syrian art scene, and has also led the experience of presenting programs such as Charisma.
